This is a new position for North America- Our client is an Independent Paper Manufacturer specializing in graphical and industrial applications in the wood free uncoated and single-coated paper sector. A high-quality matt inkjet paper, High Performance (pigment) offers a very good in multicolor printing and in-line finishing equipment. Excellent black optical density and a big color gamut are helping you to get across your message in transactional, promotional and book print, without compromising the operation speed of in-line process equipment such as cutting, folding, inserting, collating and stacking.

Job Description:
You are responsible for the successful development of the volume, revenue and profit with customers for high-speed inkjet applications (transactional, promotional, commercial print and publishing) in the US market. You will accelerate the profitable growth of our client product range in close cooperation with our clients partners in the US. You work in a sales manager team closely together with the business development director, product management and the commercial inside sales department.
Together with the sales and marketing director and business development director you decide on a defined market development plan, with a clear focus on contacting prospects and customers directly.
The plan builds on the strategic 2020 growth plan for digital volumes and profits You develop a strategic multi-year plan based on ambitious volume growth and realistic market share objectives. The growth of clients flagship product is key.
You should identify specific growth opportunities per customer group.
You further develop the close cooperation with OEMs and publishers.
Build the brand in the US by using effective communication tools.
At the customer and prospect level, you make a realistic forecast for the budget year (volume, price, and margin).
Your sales priority is determined by the combination of customer potential competitiveness and market share growth.
80% of your time will be spent with customers (focus on presence and value) and reports within 24 hours in the CRM system.
Functional guidance is provided to the inside sales department (CBD) that supports your market segment and ensures that this team is well informed about the business policy and commercial objectives so that they are motivated and able to pull along.
You will ensure that the CRM system is fully up-to-date at all times according to the policy: “a better understanding of customers and relationship management”. The system is a central communication hub between you and the inside sales team.
Knowledge & Experience:
•Bachelor in Business or equivalent
•At least 7 years’ experience in a commercial function in the paper industry, preferably in the connection between commerce and technology.
•Knowledge of high speed inkjet printing techniques and stakeholders in the US market
•Familiar with home office situation and European head office
•Customer centric approach and track record in dialogue with stakeholders on middle and senior level
•Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
•Interested in package with high variable part linked to growth of the business
